Duties and Role:
Under the supervision of the Service delivery Manager and Project Manager, the incumbent will perform duties as the space services and capability support officer:
- Assist in project execution: Help the project manager in organizing, planning, and executing various work packages (WPs) within the project.
- Assist in service execution: Help the project/service manager in delivering the Orion service.
- Maintain documentation: Ensure that all documentation, including project plans, reports, and meeting minutes, are up-to-date and properly organized.
- Track project progress: Monitor the progress of different WPs and provide bi-weekly updates, including progress indicators, risks, and opportunities.
- Advise NATO stakeholders on the use of the Orion service
- Coordinate communication: Facilitate communication between service or project teams and stakeholders, ensuring that information is shared promptly and accurately.
- Track the drafting of reports and service delivery: Help in the tracking of the delivery of highlight reports, short articles, post-event summaries, and post-exercise reports as required by the project guidelines.
- Coordinate service delivery
- Coordinate deliverable dissemination: Manage the dissemination of final products, requiring the consent of the project sponsor as needed.
- Provide briefings on space, space service or space project progress or scope.
- Schedule management: Help monitor and update the service delivery and project schedule, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met.
- Quality control: Support the project manager in ensuring that all deliverables adhere to established reporting & quality standards and project requirements.
Skill, Knowledge & Experience:
- The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
- Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 4 years post-related experience.
- At least 5 years' experience within the Project Management / Project support domain.
- At least 5years' experience in a progressively responsible project administrative support role;
- Extensive experience in the use of Business Information (BI) Tools to generate accounting and finance reports (including time accounting);
- Programme/Project / administrative assistant experience.
- MS Office skills essential.
- Experience with Project management and/or Enterprise Resource Planning tools is required.
- 2 years experience in the Space Domain, must be able to provide examples of space activities
- 2 years experience working on Space related project or service management
- 2 years experience with Orion, APSS and Space Capability development
