About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Tax Manager to lead tax planning and advisory services for high-net-worth individuals, families, and private entities. This role offers a flexible hybrid setup from our Boston or Waltham offices, with remote options for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise high-profile clients on tax strategies, including C-Corps, S-Corps, Trusts, and Partnerships.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and compliance documents.
- Oversee engagements, managing workflow, billing, and review processes.
- Act as a trusted advisor and main point of contact for clients.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Respond to federal and state tax notices and represent clients in audits.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing tax team.
- Manage multiple Estate, Gift, and Fiduciary tax engagements.
- Review complex Forms 706, 709, and 1041, along with related tax schedules and fiduciary documents.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or Tax.
- CPA, EA, or JD certification is required.
- 8+ years in public accounting with expertise in high-net-worth taxation.
- Strong skills in tax planning, research, and compliance.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
